A Message from the Author

I want you to know something before you even open this book I’m not a pastor, a theologian, or someone who has it all figured out. I’m just a regular person who’s been through some hard seasons and watched God show up in ways I couldn’t explain.

There were times I didn’t think I’d make it when the bills stacked higher than the income, when my family faced pain I couldn’t fix, and when I honestly wondered if God still saw me.

But through it all, He never stopped working. I didn’t always notice it right away, but looking back, I can see how every closed door, delay, and disappointment was leading me somewhere better.

I wrote God Blesses Plain People Too because I wanted you to know that God doesn’t only bless the famous, the powerful, or the perfect. He blesses ordinary people — people like you and me right in the middle of our mess.

So as you read these pages, I hope you don’t just see my story. I hope you start to see your own. Because if God could lift me up, restore what I thought was lost, and give me peace when everything was falling apart, He can do the same for you.

You don’t have to be special for God to show up. You just have to be willing to believe He still can.
